What is a Phone Survey
During a Phone Survey, we will ask the relevant questions that will allow us to understand your requirements for moving home, during this short conversation we will ask you questions such as:
- When are you looking to move home (don't worry if you don't have a fixed date as yet)
- Where you are moving from and to (if we don't already have this information)
- How big your current property is, generally how many bedrooms is all we need to know
- What access to and from your current and new property is like, including how many floors and walking distances
- What effects would you like us to move, don't worry - we can easily help you work this out
- What Services you require from us
Generally we only perform Phone Surveys for smaller properties or where only a small amount of effects are being moved from a property, a rule of thumb would normally mean that a property which has 3 or more bedrooms would require a Video Survey or a Site Survey, as with bigger properties there are more things to consider.
Once we have completed our Phone Survey with you, one of our Surveyors will estimate the size of your effects and we will use this to determine our Quotation, after the conversation we will e-mail you a Free Quotation and a Move Plan which details all the service options we can offer and document how we would design your removal.
